Yes, whether you are a resident of Garden City, Rich County, or the surrounding area you can get a library card!
Garden City and Rich County residents may obtain a library card free of charge. Simply bring in a Government issued ID and proof of residency (i.e. power bill, propane bill, lease agreement) and a library card can be issued.
Non-Residence may obtain a library card for a fee of $30.00 per year. Simply bring in a Government issued ID and proof of address (i.e. power bill, propane bill, lease agreement) and a library card can be issued.
Garden City Library issues one library card per family. Each addition card costs $5.00.
A Garden City Library card will expire one (1) year after it has been issued. All fines, fees, and overdue items must be cleared before any card may be renewed.
Lost or stolen cards should be reported to the library as the patron retains financial responsibility for the items check out to the library card. The library will assess a $5.00 replacement for for lost or stolen cards.
