Help us grow our vital community resource!
The Friends of the Garden City Library is a passionate 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established in 2017 and run entirely by dedicated local volunteers. We believe a library is an essential community asset that deserves support above and beyond its standard budget.
Our mission is to provide financial and volunteer support that directly enhances the Garden City Library and positively impacts all its patrons. By securing donations, endowments, and sponsorships, we ensure the library can thrive.
Because we are a nonprofit, all personal and corporate charitable gifts given to the Friends are tax-deductible.
Small donations of gently used or new books and movies may be brought to the circulation desk. As appropriate donated books may be added to the libraries collection or sold in our year round book sale.
Please contact the librarian for larger donations.
